A significant new project has commenced at the Abercromby Industrial Estate in High Wycombe, covering units 1A, 1C, 2, 3, and 4. Spanning an impressive 35,201 square feet, the project will involve extensive roofing works across all units.

The scope of the project includes:

• Unit 1A: The removal of the old asbestos roof and its replacement with high-performance 115mm Kingspan QuadCore roof sheets.

• Unit 1C: Similarly, the old asbestos roof will be replaced with new 115mm Kingspan QuadCore roof sheets.

• Unit 2: Removal of the existing metal roof and installation of 115mm Kingspan QuadCore roof sheets.

• Unit 3: Over-roofing with an Ash & Lacy grid system, TATA 0.7mm roof sheets, and 240mm Knauf insulation.

• Unit 4: Over-roofing with an Ash & Lacy grid system, TATA 0.7mm roof sheets, 240mm Knauf insulation, and the installation of new structural steelwork to support the gable end wall.

In addition, all units will receive new galvanized roof purlins, and HD Sharman Plygene liners will be installed across the entire site to enhance drainage and weatherproofing.

This project represents a major upgrade to the industrial estate, improving the structural integrity, energy efficiency, and long-term sustainability of these key units
