Orchard is delighted to announce the successful completion of a major refurbishment of its 82,220 sq. ft. facility in Coventry. The ambitious project, which took 20 weeks to complete, has transformed the site’s warehouse and office spaces, breathing new life into the building and bringing it firmly up to modern standards.

The work focused on making the facility more functional, sustainable, and comfortable for those who use it. A big part of the project involved giving the roof a much-needed upgrade. The roof sheets were thoroughly cleaned before being treated with Sharmans Delcote 25, a high-performance coating designed to stand up to the British weather for years to come. In certain areas, other approved systems were applied to ensure full protection. The gutters were also lined with Sharmans Plygene, a trusted solution for preventing leaks and keeping water damage at bay.

Sustainability was a key priority throughout the renovation. Energy-efficient LED floodlights have been installed, complete with sensors and timers that adjust to ambient light levels and usage patterns, helping to reduce energy consumption while ensuring the building is well-lit at all times.

The office spaces have been completely revamped, with new flooring and modern lighting creating a bright, comfortable, and contemporary environment for staff. In the warehouse, the focus was on improving functionality, with the repair of loading doors and a full upgrade of the outdated lighting to more efficient systems, improving visibility and cutting energy costs.

This project underlines Orchard’s commitment to investing in its facilities, not just to maintain them, but to make them fit for the future. The Coventry site is now a modern, energy-efficient space that reflects Orchard’s forward-thinking approach and focus on sustainability.
