Progress: Unit 5, Cranbrook Way, Solihull
Refurbishment works at Unit 55, Cranbrook Way in Solihull are progressing well, with several key milestones recently achieved as part of the ongoing transformation of the premises.
The ground floor office space, originally constructed by the previous tenant, has now been fully demolished and cleared. In addition, the internal strip-out of all former tenant fixtures, fittings, finishes, and partition walls has been completed.
In the WC areas, where full-height tiles had been fitted, plasterboard walls have been reinstated. These have now been taped and jointed in preparation for redecoration.
Mechanical and electrical contractors have also made substantial progress. Redundant electrical and plumbing installations have been removed, and first fix works are now under way to support the new open-plan layout.
Externally, both the roof and building elevations have been thoroughly cleaned. The roof is currently undergoing cut-edge corrosion treatment and resealing of skylights to improve durability and weather resistance. Meanwhile, the yard and surrounding hard landscaping are being jet-washed to a high standard.
This comprehensive refurbishment is part of a wider investment in upgrading commercial properties in the area, aiming to provide modern, flexible spaces for future tenants. Further updates will follow as the project continues to move forward.
