Dive into Oliver's captivating story and discover what inspired him to tackle this remarkable challenge head-on.
Oliver’s Story:
Hello everyone! Over the next six months, I will be raising funds for the Southern Africa Wildlife College. I aim to raise funds to help train the next generation of wildlife rangers. I am calling this project “Running for Rhinos,” as the training provided will help protect rhinos from extinction.
I have been lucky enough to visit the Greater Kruger National Park on multiple occasions and have seen the devastation that poaching causes to the population of rhinos. I will also hopefully be putting together some interviews with both the fantastic people who run the college and, hopefully, the students and alumni of the college to help put a face to your donations.
I will also bring some stories of the great conservation work and why it is so important to help protect wildlife.
Now for the important part! How am I going to raise this money? I will be running five half marathons and a full marathon over six months. My first run is this Sunday, so please keep an eye on my social media to find out how I get on!
From all of us at Orchard good luck Oliver!
