Unit B2, Heartlands Business Park, Daventry
A significant construction and refurbishment project has been successfully delivered at Unit B2, Heartlands Business Park, Daventry. The 177,000 sq ft scheme was completed in just 20 weeks, in collaboration with Helme & Partners.
The project team is delighted to report that the site achieved a “Very Good” score under the Considerate Constructors Scheme and is now targeting a BREEAM Excellent certification — reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and high-quality standards throughout the build.
Scope of Works
The extensive works undertaken on this scheme included:
Sustainability Enhancements: Installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels across the roof and provision of electric vehicle charging points to support greener transport.
Roofing & External Fabric: A full re-skin of the outer roof sheets, installation of new gutter liners, replacement skylights, and targeted cladding repairs.
Site & Yard Improvements: Creation of five new parking spaces through enlargement of the yard, concrete yard repairs, and upgrades to dock levellers and roller doors.
Internal Works: Comprehensive warehouse floor repairs, full strip-out and renewal of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, installation of energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, and refurbishment of passenger lift facilities.
Office & Welfare Areas: Complete WC refurbishments including new IPS panels, vanity units, and sanitaryware, upgraded finishes, and new flooring installations.
