Major Refurbishment Completed at Unit D4, Thurrock

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the refurbishment of Unit D4, Motherwell Way, Thurrock – a 10,474 sq ft industrial and commercial property.

The comprehensive project involved the complete strip-out of the previous tenant's installations, including machinery, racking, mezzanine structures, offices, services, signage and associated equipment. All disturbed areas were repaired and made good, creating a clear and flexible warehouse space.

Significant improvements were also made to the building's external envelope, including extensive brickwork repairs and repointing, new anthracite windows and doors, façade improvements and a new loading door.

A major part of the project was the replacement of the existing roof with a new insulated composite roof system, including new rooflights, gutters, parapets and associated waterproofing details.

Internally, the warehouse floor was repaired and finished with a new epoxy coating, while the office and welfare areas received a complete refurbishment, including new ceilings, flooring, LED lighting, electrical services, heating and cooling systems, sanitaryware and finishes.

External areas were also upgraded, with improvements to drainage, parking, fencing and access areas.

The completed works have transformed Unit D4 into a modern, clean and flexible commercial property, with improved appearance, functionality, energy performance and building services, ready for its next occupier.
