Delivered in collaboration with project partners @quartz_project_services, the project focused on upgrading an existing asset to meet modern operational, environmental, and occupier requirements, enhancing both functionality and sustainability credentials to position it for future use. The comprehensive scope included targeting BREEAM “Very Good” certification and enrolment in the Considerate Constructors Scheme, reflecting a commitment to responsible construction, alongside key upgrades such as EV charger installation, M&E improvements to boost EPC performance, and the removal of gas mains. Internally, works involved a full strip-out of mezzanine offices and dilapidation works, with enhanced welfare and amenity provisions including improved W/C ventilation, new showers, and updated tea point facilities to support occupier wellbeing. Externally, the project delivered a complete roof and cladding clean, as well as the installation of new fire doors to meet current safety standards, demonstrating how a well-planned refurbishment can extend an asset’s lifespan while aligning with modern sustainability expectations.
