Progress: Unit 3, Redwood Court
Sheffield’s Unit 3, Redwood Court, is entering its final phase, with completion expected within the next month. Significant strides have been made across multiple areas of the project, ensuring a timely wrap-up.
The dry lining of new office spaces has been successfully completed, paving the way for further interior refinements. This week, the team will commence mist coating and decoration in the existing office spaces, enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the environment.
Electrical second fix work is well underway, with the client’s power and data requirements beginning to take shape. Notably, the installation of Starlink has been completed, ensuring high-speed connectivity for the office space.
Floor preparation is progressing, with plans in place to install the client’s chosen floor finish this week. Simultaneously, carpentry second fix and final touches are taking shape, including the installation of new wet and dry tea points. These tea points are equipped with a five-point tap, offering sparkling, boiling, and filtered water, alongside standard hot and cold options, providing a modern and convenient refreshment solution.
During the renovation, the removal of existing dry lining in the WCs exposed deteriorated, damaged, and leaking pipework—a common challenge in refurbishment projects. However, this issue was swiftly addressed to prevent any impact on the project timeline.
With these key milestones achieved and finishing touches underway, Unit 3, Redwood Court, is on track for a successful completion in the coming weeks.
