Units 3 & 4: Over-Roofing for Enhanced Protection
Work on Units 3 and 4 has involved the installation of a high-performance over-roofing system designed to improve insulation and longevity. The key components used in this phase include:

Knauf FactoryClad 40 Insulation – improving thermal efficiency and reducing heat loss.
TATA LG Plastisol Coated Roof Sheets – providing a weather-resistant and aesthetically appealing finish.
Units 1A, 1C, & 2: Comprehensive Roof Replacement
A more extensive refurbishment is taking place on Units 1A, 1C, and 2, where the existing corrugated asbestos cement roof sheets and timber slates have been removed. The replacement work includes:
New Galvanised Metal Purlins – ensuring a strong and long-lasting roof structure.
Kingspan KS1000RW Composite Roof Sheets – installed to meet current building regulations for insulation and energy efficiency.
Triple Skin Rooflights – designed to provide 12-15% natural daylight, enhancing workplace environments.
Highline/Trimline Plastisol Gutters – improving water management and drainage efficiency.
HDSharman Plygene Liners – offering additional protection against leaks and ensuring a longer-lasting guttering system.
