Deacon Trading Estate Forstal Rd, Aylesford

A major refurbishment project is currently in progress at the Deacon Trading Estate on Forstal Road, Aylesford, focusing on the upgrade of four industrial units occupied by Qualitex.

The works form part of a broader initiative to modernise the estate and enhance both its appearance and functionality for existing and prospective tenants. The scope of the project includes significant roofing improvements, replacement of roof lights, gutter refurbishment, and a range of external upgrades.

A durable Giromax roof coating system—providing a 25-year lifespan—is being applied across all units. Known for its resilience and long-term performance, this coating will offer robust protection against the elements.

To improve natural light levels within the buildings, new site-assembled Filon roof lights are being installed. These will not only reduce reliance on artificial lighting but also create a brighter, more pleasant working environment. Additionally, the roof’s guttering is being upgraded with new liners, ensuring improved water management and longevity.

The renovation also includes full re-coating of the roofs, external painting and decoration, and complete replacement of all windows and doors, greatly enhancing the visual appeal and energy efficiency of the premises.

Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve the operational and aesthetic quality of the Deacon Trading Estate, reinforcing its role as a key industrial location in the Aylesford area.
