Works Underway at Little Ridge Industrial Estate, Welwyn Garden City

Comprehensive refurbishment programme begins at Units 3 and 12

Works are now underway at Units 3 and 12 at Little Ridge Industrial Estate in Welwyn Garden City, with a comprehensive refurbishment programme set to transform the 10,794 sq ft combined facility.

The project will deliver significant improvements across the existing warehouse, office and external areas, creating a safer, more compliant and more functional environment for future occupiers.

The refurbishment programme includes the installation of a new insulated built-up profiled metal roof overlay and rooflights, alongside new fire-rated lining systems and parapet wall panels. Redundant mezzanine structures and first-floor offices will also be removed to improve the efficiency and usability of the space.

Further works will include repairs to warehouse flooring, cladding and internal linings, as well as upgrades to the ground-floor office and kitchen facilities. Loading bay doors and associated facilities will also be improved.

Externally, the project will see enhancements to paving, fencing, gates and vegetation, complemented by roof and gutter repairs and the application of protective coatings.

The programme has been designed to improve the building’s overall performance, compliance and day-to-day functionality, while providing a refreshed and more efficient industrial facility.

With works now underway, the transformation of Little Ridge Industrial Estate is set to take shape over the coming weeks and months.
