Unit 1 Patricia Way, Broadstairs
Works have now been successfully completed at 1 Patricia Way, Broadstairs, Kent, on behalf of Elgate Products Ltd, marking the delivery of a comprehensive 61,200 sq ft external refurbishment project.
The large-scale programme was designed to enhance both the longevity and appearance of the industrial facility, with a detailed scope of works focused on restoring and protecting the building envelope.
The roofing works included cut edge corrosion treatment, sealing, and full sheet preparation, followed by a complete clean down and application of Delcote GS Single Coat. Gutter repairs were also carried out, alongside the installation of a new HD Sharmans GS Gutter Coating System to improve long-term performance and weather resistance.
Additional improvements included the replacement of damaged cladding panels and full spraying of the building’s cladding, curtain walling, windows, and canopy, with all preparation and cleaning works undertaken prior to application. Decorative works were completed to fire exit doors, roller shutter doors, and protective bollards to deliver a consistent and refreshed finish across the site.
Rooflight upgrades were also incorporated into the project, contributing to improved durability and overall building performance.
The completed refurbishment provides Elgate Products Ltd with a fully renewed and protected facility, extending the lifespan of the property while enhancing its external presentation.
The project was delivered safely and efficiently, reflecting a continued commitment to quality workmanship and high standards across all aspects of industrial and commercial refurbishment.
