Unit 3 Suffolk Retail Park in Ipswich, comprising 13,261 square feet, underwent an extensive renovation completed within an impressive 8-week timeline. The comprehensive works included a full internal stripout of the existing Argos unit, reverting it back to the base build.

The project featured a thorough roof and gutter coating, accompanied by a 25-year guarantee for long-lasting protection. External enhancements encompassed cladding spraying and meticulous brick repairs, enhancing both aesthetics and structural integrity. Internally, the space was revitalised through detailed decorations, creating an inviting atmosphere. An engineering highlight involved the infill of the existing lift pit in the warehouse floor, optimising functionality and safety. Mechanical and electrical isolations, removals, and the installation of temporary services, specifically focusing on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, were seamlessly executed. Despite facing challenges associated with working within a live retail park, the project team demonstrated resilience and adaptability, ensuring minimal disruption to the operational aspects of the retail environment. The outcome was a transformed Unit 3 that not only met but exceeded expectations.
