Unit 4 Link 20, Aylesford

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the full refurbishment project at Unit 4 Link 20, a 19,592 sq ft industrial and office space, delivered on behalf of Helme and Partners with landlord CBRE Investment Management LTD.

This project marks another significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, future-ready commercial and industrial environments. The comprehensive refurbishment has transformed the unit into a modern, energy-efficient, and operationally robust space designed to meet today’s demanding occupational needs.

A Complete Roof-to-Interiors Transformation

The project involved substantial upgrades across both the external envelope and internal areas of the building. Key works included:

Roof & External Works

  • Full replacement of metal roof sheets, ensuring long-term durability and improved weather performance.

  • Installation of new skylights, providing enhanced natural lighting throughout the warehouse.

  • New gutter systems and upgraded external cladding, contributing to improved building integrity and a refreshed external aesthetic.

  • Photovoltaic (PV) system installation, supporting sustainable energy generation and helping reduce future operational costs.

  • Mansafe roof system installed to allow safe access for ongoing maintenance.

Internal Strip-Out & Refit

Inside the building, we undertook a complete strip-out followed by a full refurbishment of both the warehouse and office accommodation:

  • Brand new LED lighting, power installations, and an upgraded fire alarm system.

  • New roller shutter doors, improving both access efficiency and security.

  • Fresh decorations throughout, including window spraying to revitalise the external façade.

  • Installation of new carpet and vinyl flooring, creating a clean, modern internal finish.

  • Updated joinery works, new suspended ceilings, and new AC systems to enhance comfort in all office areas.

Facilities & Infrastructure Enhancements

To ensure the building is fully prepared for new occupiers, we also delivered:

  • Replacement of sanitaryware across all welfare areas.

  • Repairs and upgrades to the drainage systems, improving reliability and performance.

This refurbishment delivers far more than a visual uplift. By integrating energy-efficient systems, improving natural light, and upgrading mechanical and electrical infrastructure, the space is now aligned with today’s sustainability and operational standards.
